Dr. Aaron Burgess, MD

Dr. Burgess took over my care from another doctor in the practice. He spent less than 3 minutes with me on the first visit and didn’t do a comprehensive exam. The only conversation he made was because of the questions I asked. I basically had to ask if it made to move for with xyz treatment. The course of treatment was basically assigned by me. He is not an attentive physician and doesn’t seem to lack the expertise of the physicians place he has taken. Very scary to know he is being referred patients. I hope other people had a different experience!

It took 3 visits before Burgess even put me on a table to evaluate my hip. He refused to do testing and put misinformation in doctors notes. Although, I am very very thankful he is such a terrible doctor because I ended up at the top specialist in the country, with Dr. Brian Kelly, at HospitM for Sspecial Surgeries who listened, diagnosed my problem and, ordered necessary tests at the first appointment. I went under hip surgery 4 weeks later and am healing wonderfully. Arrogance gets the best Dr. Burgess. I’d still be disabled if it I continued seeing him.

My husband had to see Dr. Aaron Burgess at 133 Mc Kees Rocks, PA and from the appointment desk with Tracey, to the nurse who asked questions in the room (I'm sorry I didn't catch her name), to the Dr. it was a great visit. Everyone very accommodating and pleasant. I thought the office staff and the Doctor was very professional and friendly. His appointment was at 11:30 and we were back in the room at that time. After the nurse asked her questions, the doctor was in within 3 minutes. He showed us the MRI and explained it to us. He sat down and was not in a hurry. I would recommend him to everyone. Impressive visit all around.

I've had really bad knee problems for four years and my activity has been limited because of pain. The surgeons I went to before blew my problems off and said that I was done for until I got a total knee replacement in both knees. I was 18 at the time. 2 years later, I found Dr. Burgess and he was the very first surgeon that said he could help me. He found things that other surgeons I've been to have not found before. He is extremely nice and respectful. He not only cares about my knees, but me as a person and my hopes, dreams and goals. I've been nothing but impressed with him from the first day I met him. Plus, he has a really great staff that are nice, kind and caring too. It's an excellent environment with excellent care.

Spent about 4 minutes with a doctor and received a shot. I spent an hour after my appt. Schedule in the waiting room. I had x Rays taken but doctor didn't discuss them with me. Makes me wonder if he knew about the X-rays. I felt so much tension between staff at this office. Still questioning if my diagnosis was correct. I am requesting my x-Rays and will be getting a second opinion. After I left the room, my paperwork that I Filled out prior to my appt was left on the table in the room when I waited for the doctor. Nobody reviewed them. It appears this office needs some serious training with Medical staff. The Doctor appeared rushed and was a miracle worker. I don't feel he heard much of what I said, but he diagnosed me in 30 seconds. A miracle or just rushed to get me out of the office. The only thing missing was a conveyer belt. Which I felt I was on.
