Dr. Aaron Joseph Burrows, MD

Worst Dr. Who cares more about Rockies games and himself. Rude to nurses,staff,and patients. Had no clue what he's doing.

I only spent 5 mins with this disgusting excuse for a human being. His arrogance and lack of professionalism is alarming. After talking with him for 5 mins I got up and walked out of his office. I am deeply concerned that he is practicing medicine. stay far far away from this office. I wish I would have read the reviews before making this apt.

His lack of professionalism and care for his patients is appalling.

My GP had the same procedure performed and recommended I use Dr. Burrows. He is efficient and professional. I highly recommend him too.

First off I would like to start off with saying I would like to take my one star back he doesn't even deserve a star I have never met a disrespectful non-caring doctor in my life like this one. I wish I have looked at the reviews before I went to this doctor my doctor referred me to this doctor I'm going to inform them that they should have sent any other patients that way I don't know how this man is still in business or even has his license. If somebody was going through depression are dealing with suicidal he will be a Cause of a mental breakdown. First I went in there and he really asked me why am I here then he asked me where is all my paperwork and why don't I know nothing from 2000 he didn't even bother to look at the paperwork prior to my appointment that my doctor sent him then when he had to look into it he had an attitude, then he seen that I was was a bit over weight and that my cholesterol was high on the test and fatty liver and he told me that I was fat and obesity and… if I keep going this way I will die when I'm like 50 or 60, then he told me I must be one of those girls that care about my butt like Jennifer Lopez or Kim Kardashian and that's not realistic so it's either my butt or my health then when I told him I'm not even here for that and told him it's you I was here for that he said so I don't care I don't know the most unprofessional doctor I have ever met he was rushed me throughout the whole appointment then I went back late and I was only in there for 20 minutes and he told me I had to hurry up cuz he had people waiting out there. Don't GO TO THIS DR..

Dr. Burrows and his admin staff have little to no regard for human feelings, place blame on patients, and have an extreme lack of open communication which, for me, prevented timely diagnosis of something that is easily treated once diagnosed. A stool sample of mine was lost in the mail, causing a month long delay in diagnosis of a parasite. I was in extreme pain for over a month, causing me to miss over 2 weeks of work, all because a parasite was not diagnosed in a timely manner (parasites are treated with antibiotics once diagnosed). When the parasite was finally diagnosed, Dr. Burrows and his staff blamed the delay on an error by me in filling out the stool sample, even though they never communicated this error to me. I had a complete lack of awareness about this issue. In addition, after waiting over a month for a diagnosis, it took an additional 4 days for Dr. Burrows to fill my prescription once he diagnosed me. I was in extreme pain for about 6 weeks in total, all because of… something that could have been diagnosed and treated in 3 days if Dr. Burrows and his office had been more communicative with me. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of efficiency as well as the lack of respect with which Dr. Burrows and his admin team gave me. I would recommend that you visit any other doctors office in the Denver area for GI issues.

First of all I spent more time in the waiting room than I did at the appointment with this Dr. and it is not because he is so great that got our medical concerns fixed but because this person, is more concerned about his marker board they have in the waiting area for patient interaction than he cares for his patients. I came at the appointment with my 3 year old. So in the waiting room they have a board with interactive fun questions for patients. They also got markers and my question is why you have them out if you mind when they are used? My son had draw on it while we waited on the Dr. to come in and see us 15-20 min late to the appointment. The moment the dr. saw that he got frustrated and unpleasant and had an attitude and inappropriate looks at my 3 year old, so he not only forgot about the patient that came in to address a problem but was rushing the entire appointment. The appointment took 5 min. All "Dr" did is renewed prescription that I am not sure is appropriate since not… all patient' issues were addressed. When asked about abdominal pain patient has he thru and I don't know answer. And when he was done, he ran out of the room saying: "let's go cause I need to fix my board". To me this is not only unprofessional but so unethical. Waste of time, money and energy...Would not recommend him to anyone. Disgusting, unprofessional and horrible behavioral.

By far the rudest person I have experienced deldt with. He's a rude, arrogant man and does not, in my opinion, has not a clue as to how to diagnose or treat the gut.

By far the rudest person I have ever met. This man should not be a Dr. as he has no compassion, doesn't care about his patients and his arrogance seeps from his pores.

If you are here researching Dr. Burrows, you are doing the right thing. The next right thing is to save your time and move on to the next Dr. He is lacking in so many areas. His nutritionist is very good. She needs a better person to work under.
