Dr. Covey gave me a shot of a different type of cortisone in my non surgical knee. He asked if my knee felt better and it did as soon as I stood up. He explained that it might last longer than a standard cortisone shot but no guarantees. I asked if I would ever be able to kneel on my surgical knee without it hurting and he said yes but it could take 1 to 1 1/2 yrs.
