Best GI doctor I've ever seen, and I've been to several GI doctors! Dr. Domm is very professional and seems genuinely caring. I highly recommend this fabulous physician!

I had the single most horrible experience with him yesterday. As a two time cancer survivor and heart patient, I have had my fair share of doctors, nurses, radiologists and various hospital/doctor office personnel - good and bad. He takes the cake! He was rude, callous, tactless and devoid of empathy. He was over an hour late with no apology or acknowledgement. Given my various diagnoses which are statistically rare at my age, he actually blurted out “well one way to look at it is you’re lucky to be alive!” His care is not patient centered at all. His recommendations were made to cover himself. He made that clear by saying that he was recommending x, y and z because “when I don’t, it comes back to bite me!” He May have been doing this a long time as he let me know SEVERAL times but maybe that’s exactly the problem. He has forgotten about the patient. I will never set foot in his or his GI practice office again and I’d caution anyone viewing this to go elsewhere!

Has a great bedside manner and just overall caring and good doctor.

Dr. Comm is an exceptional GI doctor. He displays a caring and attentive manner to his patients. I found him to be amongst the best.

My husband and I traveled for our jobs all over the United States so I saw many doctors for my problem. I have suffered with diarrhea for 17 years and I was always told I have IBS and they would give me another prescription. Not one doctor stopped to look at the medicines I was taking and ask how long I had been on them but Dr. Domm. I had been on Lexapro (antidepressant) for fibromyalgia since 2001 so he immediately took me off of it and the problems stopped. Dr. Domm is a top-notch GI doctor who I credit with giving a normal life. The wait time in his waiting room may be a little long and his office is always busy. To that I say, if he is the best, he is worth waiting for. If you are looking for a fantastic doctor...Dr. Domm is the one for you. I highly recommend him.

He and his staff were rude. He gave us the impression he didn't care about our well-being. After getting another opinion his recommended course of action made us question his competence.

Dr. Domm performed a colonoscopy on me at the Charleston Surgery Center. It was like a colonoscopy mill, with patients wheeled in as soon as other patients were wheeled out. He seemed thorough, but I had to wait at least a week in order to get pathology results, and I had to be the one to pursue his office staff for the results.

Smart guy. Seems very knowledgeable, but does not really display genuine concern for his patients. Just a little too detached.

Although my colonoscopy was supposed to be at 12:30 and I didn't have it done until around 2, because he was late and although I was third when they told me I'd be first, everything else was great. He seems very knowledgeable and the nurses at Charleston Surgery Center were really good. My pre-procedure consultation with Dr. Domm wad really incredible. I hadn't even sat down yet after checking in, and he called me back, ZERO wait time ? Never even heard of it. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Domm is at Palmetto Primary Care - Summerville GI. I have followed him from his other practice. First let me say that Dr. Domm is very knowledgeable, seems patient with me when I talk to him & while sometimes I feel like he forgets who I am, I do realize he's very busy and has a lot of patients. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs an excellent GI dr, & have referred many people. I do NOT care for his office staff. They are horrible! The med assistant he has complains to me everytime I go in that she's having a bad day and has spoken to me about other office staff. It's so unprofessional! The front desk is completely incompetent! They called my prescription into the wrong pharmacy (even though my pharmacist left them the correct number!), I can only assume they didn't listen to the message. They also have overcharged me several times, insisting that my insurance hasn't paid, but I have the EOB saying they have. I have put up with it because I really like… Dr. Domm, but unfortunately, I'm starting to wonder if it's enough to keep me there as a patient.
