He always listens to what you have to say. Doesn't talk down to you and keeps working on the right drug regimen until he finds what works for you.

The biggest negative I can say about him is that it takes too long to get in initially. Dr Eggebean, is very proffessional, but still has a great "bedside" manner. He is both personable and focused. But what we like the most is he will sit there and explain things until you understand them. He is always willing to listen to your concerns, and preferences (where applicable) and is willing to work with you on flexibility. I recomment him to anyone who would be looking for a rheumatologist.

Dr. Eggebeen takes the timne to listen BEFORE looking at your chart. If he feels that your problem may be one of several different things he will wait to find the right diagnosis, but still treat you. Also, he is honest about what treatments you may or maynot need and what tests you need to have or may want to consider and which ones you could have but are costly and not neccessary (so unusual, particularly after spending thuosands other offices). Finally, if you want to see another doctor, try other options or explore treatments that he did not offer initially he is behind you 100%. A supporting doctor who listens, cares and champions YOU, not your money, your insurance or the drug companies!
