Dr. Aaron Lee Ellenbogen, DO

Dr Ellenbogen and his staff are very rude. The receptionist is very snarky and aggressive. Coming from someone who works in the medical profession, this was such a mind boggling experience. I’ve never in my life met such a rude and arrogant doctor. he was very rude. I got emotional during the appointment and he was very judgmental, stating “i don’t understand what the issue is” etc. I had TWO referrals for this doctor from two separate doctors due to my issue and he did not care to go over any of the paperwork they gave me nor the CT scan I had done. He did not have any sense of urgency or sympathy either. He also dresses severely unprofessional.

Father-in-law was recommended this doctor. He saw him for 2 years and declined while in his care. Pushed Keppra for years, constantly increasing his dose despite protests that it was making my FIL worse. Last month, he switched to a new neurologist, kicked Keppra, started 2 new meds and was able to ditch his cane and start enjoying life again. He feels like he wasted 2 years of his life and wants to warn people to stay away from Dr. Ellenbogen.

I have suffered with Hemifacial spasms for years and Dr.Ellenbogen told me there is no cure. He lied to me, microvascular decompression surgery correct the problem. All he wanted to do is put me on meds and shoot me up with botox.

Worse experience of my life Wish I never went there. I have Dystonia. Put me in muscle relaxers. Narcotics and worse of all he wanted to go on a cocktail. That I found out it was s roofie. I had hallucinations. He didn’t even care. Worse staff ever. Would never recommend this Dr or staff to anybody. Anybody involved with this practice.

Dr ellenbogen is. A great doctor he save my life when all the other doctor gave up on me he didn't this is a great man need more Doctors like him.

Based on personality, I'm not sure how anyone could ever give him a good review! The same apply's to his office staff. Perhaps its just his quiet personailty but he comes across smug, aloof and in generaly anoid. I don't not have complaints regarding medical treatment, its all based on his poor, poor attitude.

Dr. Ellenbogen is polite, friendly, very capable and clearly keeps on the "cutting edge" of neurology through his own research and continuing education.

I've been seeing Dr.Ellenbogen since 2012 He is very knowledgeable and conveys information in a way that is understandable yet informative. He deals with very difficult Patient issues in a Compassionate manner.

I have seen Dr. Ellenbogen for about 8 years. He is very thorough, friendly and professional every time I am there for appointments. He has successfully been able to keep my muscle disorder under control with medication. I am very happy with his approach to my care.

Very calm. Explains everything on my level of understanding. good bedside manner. I trust him to give me the best care.
