Dr. Johnson attributes his decision to become a dentist to a hit-and-run accident that caused him to lose his front teeth. The many hours of dental work needed to re-create his front teeth made him realize that he wanted to ease peoples' suffering and help them keep their smiles. He is pleased to be back in his hometown and is now a fourth generation business owner in Bismarck.
