Dr. Aaron B Kaufman, DO

Dr Kaufman takes time to understand your situation and he really listens before making any recommendations. I was on a waiting list for two years and it was so worth it. Instead of pushing for what pays from my insurance provider he tells me exactly what he thinks will make a difference for me. He has courage.

Dr. Kaufman is a great doctor. He is not that easy to get in to see, but that is true with a lot of good docs I suppose. He is really good at looking at the whole picture, most docs these days aren't. They just write a script and send you on your way. I appreciate that there are still a few doctors who assess more thoroughly and attempt to actually heal you instead of just masking your symptoms.

Dr. Kaufman can be arrogant and self-absorbed. When one of his recommended treatments fails to work, he tends to get "insulted" and does not pursue solutions in an effective manner.

Dr K is an outstanding healer. he is focussed on prevention rather than disease management.

I was wrongly diagnosed and ended up in the emergency room. He looks at his computer and seems like he would rather be somewhere else. Beware of doctors selling supplements!! Seems getting payment is more important than helping the patient.

I've had a few major health issues and seen many doctors, both here and out of state. Dr. Kaufman is the first doc to truly listen and care--and take the time to do so. He is very knowledgeable and recognizes the importance of integrating all aspects of a person's life into their health and wellness. He's one of the very few docs who knows and believes in changing one's diet and other lifestyle issues, rather than just prescribing medication. Dr. Kaufman is the first physician who I would highly recommend to anyone.

We thought we found an office we could life with until we got the letter in the mail stating for a modest fee of a couple thousand dollars a year we could actually have timely appointments. Since they are already charging my insurance this stuck us as double billing for the same service and immoral to say the least. Never again.

My experience with Dr. Kaufman has been what I look for in a physician: he is knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, looks to my general health and offers suggestions on how changes in my lifestyle/diet will enhance my health. I recommend Dr. Kaufman to my friends who are seeking a physician who integrates lifestyle with medical advice. How can you go wrong with this?
