Dr. Aaron Scott Klepper, MD

Dr Klepper came in with his big mouth asking my husband and I, who were wearing Star Wars shirts, about the movie. We told him what we knew. He then proceeded to "diagnose" me and I use the term very loosely. I have severe lymphedema in my legs and I had a sore on the back of my leg. He never touched my legs though he did observe them from afar. He was concerned with me not taking my medicine for bipolar disorder. I told him it was over $1000 and we didn't have insurance. He left the room then sent someone in with a prescription for a $40 antibiotic and the same medicine I was already taking for bipolar that I already told him I couldn't afford. They shuffled me off to another room for discharge and I could hear Dr. Klepper making fun of me and my husband about Star Wars and they were all laughing about us. The social worker that I requested was extremely helpful and very nice. Needless to say, if I had a choice I wouldn't see him again.

Dr. Klepper didn't even try to understand the reason that I was in the Emergency Room in agonizing pain. While I understand that not every physician will be knowledgeable about my specific illness, I do expect some degree of professionalism and intelligence, in which he was fairly lacking.
