Summary

Choosing a mental health provider is deeply personal. Many people I work with arrive feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of what they need — only that something isn’t quite right. I offer a space that’s unrushed and judgment-free, where you’re met with care, clarity, and compassion. As both a physician and a listener, I bring a balance of medical insight and human understanding. I’m thoughtful with treatment, integrating medication only when it truly supports your process. Clients often tell me, “I finally felt understood.”My work is especially attuned to young adults, professionals, caregivers, and individuals navigating complex life transitions or identity questions. If you’re seeking care that honors your full story, I’d be honored to support you.THE PATH THAT SHAPED MY PRACTICE My journey into medicine began with a deep curiosity about how the body and mind connect. At Stanford, I studied biological sciences with a fascination for biochemistry and human behavior, but it was clear early on—my calling was people, not just pathology. Earning my M.D. from Temple University as a four-year Alumni Scholar, I trained in family medicine and geriatrics—learning to care for individuals across the lifespan. Over the years, I’ve served in hospitals, psychiatric units, nursing homes, public health, and correctional systems—meeting people at life’s most vulnerable intersections. I hold board certifications in Family Medicine, Geriatrics, and Addiction Medicine. I’ve taught at Stanford, conducted clinical research, and led care teams as a medical director. But more than any title or degree, my work has always been rooted in listening closely, caring deeply, and seeing the whole person. This practice reflects that belief: that healing starts with presence, understanding, and thoughtful support tailored to each individual’s path.

Ensuring Data Transparency and Trust: A Guide to Vitals Doctor Listings and Reviews

Our provider data is gathered directly from physicians and publicly available databases. Providers who verify their profiles gain the ability to update information, offering additional details about their specialties, education, treated conditions, performed procedures, and accepted insurances.

Reviews on Vitals are submitted by users only. Recognizing the valuable insights these reviews offer into a doctor's reputation, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Importantly, providers cannot delete or alter reviews independently. Reviews can only be deleted or changed following an internal assessment by our customer service team.

Your feedback is highly valued and we encourage you to contact our support team should you encounter any issues.
