Dr. Aaron Gavin Meng, MD

wrongfully diagnosed me with borderline personality disorder at 12 when it was acctually autism. told me it couldn't be autism because i can "make eye contact". medically gaslit me for years and stunted my recovery. also called a neurological tic disorder "tiktok tics" referring to the app tiktok. very unprofessional.

Dr. Meng is a great psychiatrist. We were very sad when he left Summitstone and didn't take medicaid at his private practice.Three of my children saw Dr. Meng. We had seen him for six years. We were very pleased with Dr. Meng. He knows what he is doing when it comes to psychiatry. He is a very pleasant doctor.

So disappointed...cares more about policy than patients. Appointments are 20 minutes. We were 10 minutes late, they refused to allow us to take the lastv10 minutes, and charged us 150 dollars instead of our 80 copays. Had they let us have the lastv10 minutes of the appointment, it would have helped my son, but also saved us money. Mental health gets really expensive, and it is a shame this doctor cares more about policy that his young patients that do not need to be rejected. I would most certainly keep looking for doctors if you are considering Dr. Meng's practice.

Minimized the negative side effects of medication, in essence lying by omission. Also made assumptions in regard to his diagnoses. Good listener, good staff.

Dr. Meng is a stickler for rules and policies. If you never run late, you always have the full cooperation of the patient needing to be seen and you dont mind paying out of pocket because he doesn't take medicare....you might be satisfied.
