Dr. Aaron Paul Rapoport, MD

Dr. Rapaport exudes confidence and composure unlike many other doctors in the Baltimore-DC area. He always greets me with a friendly face and tells the tough stuff easy. Few doctors in the country possess Dr. Rapaport's medical acumen or his hunky physique. He is a great friend and even attended my newphew's bar mitzvah.

Great Doctor, highly recommend him.

After you get past the reception desk and into the waiting room. The wait is on. Even though you feel bad, the girls doing the file,weight,blood do not care. I have waited from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm waiting to have my file updated and we all just sit. After you get to see the Dr. Everything moves along. If the Dr can't see anyone until 5:00 pm, make the appointment for 4:00. Dr Rapoport is a great doctor.

Dr. Rapoport has an excellent "bedside manner". He is not overly warm and fuzzy but he has a gentle, kind demeanor and very carefully explains both tests and treatments in language the lay person can understand. He answers questions readily and patiently (I often have asked the same question more than once when I didn't fully grasp what I had been told previously). He speaks to the patient directly but also responds directly and gently to family queries. The waiting time in the office often seems excessive, however, My blood has to drawn first and it takes at least an hour to an hour and a half for the lab results to come back. He needs these to analyze how I am progressing so I don't feel the poor waiting time I indicated is exactly fair-there is not much the office staff can do about most of it and it has gotten better in the two years I have been seen at UMMS.
