Dr. Schwaab did a great job at explaining the procedure along with explaining long term issues.

Highly skilled surgeon; beloved by staff with whom he works. I was told, as a patient, that "I had the best." Clear, effective communicator; empathic and caring in his interactions with me and my husband. I felt confident in his ability to find the source of my abdominal pain. My recovery was smooth and pleasant. Am grateful to have him as my physician.

Dr schwaab did a great job treating my ulcers on my legs. His way of talking to me is completely unnecessary he was confrontational because i questioned new sores that were developing due to the treatment. He said that its expected. I didnt like that explanation. Got into a personal argument. Told him to walk away and leave me alone he refused then it started to get personel. Just because hes a doctor doesnt mean that mistakes cant be made. I was concerned with my treatment he got upset and told me that it was impossible for any mistakes to ever be made. I understand that hes smarter than iam but that doesnt mean my opinion doesnt matter. He should be more compassionate to my needs he sees these things every day for 20 years. This is scary for me its not a normal thing for me to experience. A little more understanding and less criticism of my bad attitude would go along way.

My wife had breast cancer and Dr Schwab did a bilateral mastectomy. He helped a terrible situation become tolerable. He took extra time to explain everything and answered all of our questions.

Dr Scwaab is sensitive and understanding on top of being a great surgeon. ! would definetly recommend him!!
