Dr. Aaron Shinkle, MD

I had several sets of shots for my lower back pain from Dr. Shinkle. No success. last time visited, I was directed to a Nurse Practioner and did not even see the doctor. She stated I should take another series of shots and the ablation would not do me any good. I pulled my records and went to a specialist in Birmingham. He stated an ablation would be very helpful, so I just completed it Guess what, NO MORE PAIN ! don't waste your time at Center for Pain. Go to Birmingham where you will get to speak and review your information with a Doctor who takes time to see you and tries to help you.

I really enjoyed my visit at Dr. Shinkle’s office. His staff was so friendly and helpful. And Dr. Shinkle took the time to treat me like a person and explain everything to me.

I have been coming here for years now and I always receive the best service. The staff is friendly and always answers any questions or concerns I may have. Dr. Shinkle is friendly and makes you feel comfortable during your procedure

Dr. Shinkle is a great Dr. He gave me an injection and it was the first time that it didn’t hurt at all. He knows what he’s doing!

I've had doctors treat me like an idiot, elude to hypochondria, and alot of just "I don't SEE it" crap - Dr. Shinkle followed the referral from my neurosurgeon to perform injections and see if I was a candidate for Radio Frequency Ablation for facet joint syndrome. He is very skilled, listens intently and works to find a solution, even if the referring doctor sent you there for just one thing. Turns out I had 3 issues, and he helped me discover the other 2 by way of treating one which eliminated one "might be" and sending me to another physician who helped us figure out the other ones. He takes time, treats you like a person not a number. He's extremely careful and skilled at what he does. I don't think I'd trust anyone else to put needles in my spine!! :) The Prattville office has the best staff and wait time in my opinion, I have never been to South and the office by Baptist East off Taylor is very disorganized and the wait times are terrible. I would see Dr. Shinkle at the… Prattville location if you have a choice. Sometimes I get a nurse who is half way listening to me when I have to call and have them call me back, rarely do I get the nurse I asked for and they don't let the nurse that calls you back listen to the voice mail so they lose ALOT in giving them the message - that's really my only complaint.

Dr. Shingle very caring and listens to his patients. He help me understand the medical problems of pain. Best Doctor I ve long time.
