About Dr. Smith
Dentistry is unique in that it blends art and science, esthetics and function, skill and emotion. These contrasting aspects of my profession allow me the freedom to create beautiful restorations and smiles for all of my patients according to their best interest. Since graduating from Oregon Health Sciences University Dental School in 1999, I strive to remain on the leading edge of technology as well as advanced techniques and skills. This ensures that my clinical skill and judgment stays sharp every day.
While I love to create esthetically beautiful restorations and smiles, it is important that my patients know my focus is on health before beauty. Simply put, I’m not able to make any tooth or restoration better than how it was first created, and I believe that the best way to ensure that happens is through prevention. There is no dentistry, like no dentistry, but when needed, my goal is to recreate what each person was designed with from the beginning, to the best of …my ability.
Personally, I love to play the guitar, work in the garden, and build all sorts of things, including stringed instruments. When I’m not in the office, you will definitely find me spending as much time as possible with my amazing wife Theresa, and three incredible sons, Adin, Isaac and Eli. Family is incredibly important to me and it is my desire to treat you as I would my own family.
