Rude crazy doctor

The worst do not subject yourself to this arrogant Dr. I have never seen a perfusion treat a child worst than the ground he walks on.

I recently had an eye exam from Dr. Sobol and I was really disappointed. Part of my exam included having my eyes dilated (which I had never had done before) and I was sent out into a bright sunny day with no eye protection or anything.I was almost blind, I could barely see anything. I was not asked if I had to drive or if I had a way home. I had to have the receptionist call my son to get me. I was never offered the option of getting glasses, I was just handed my prescription on a piece of paper, I guess because I had asked about getting glasses on line, to which I was told that that wasn't a good idea and I replied okay. Not enough time spent for his patients and little concern.

I was extremely happy with the care and explanation of my eye pathology. Dr Sobol gave me ample one on one time and his staff was very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Sobol really checked my eyes well, found my problem. Was great to be around.

Dr. Sobol is rude, sarcastic , and disrespectful. He became very short tempered and snarky with me during a routine eye exam; and I am a returning patient. He accused me of arguing with him when I was only trying to ask questions. He actually dismissed me and said I could contacts and glasses anywhere (and believe me it will anywhere but from him). So, I left there with an incomplete eye exam, a brief mention of a small cataract, no glasses or contacts, and now have to find another doctor and make another appointment. I think the worst part of this for me is that I am too nice and did not tell him exactly what I thought of him. But I will now: He needs a psychiatric exam and counseling. Stay clear...

Dr Sobol is a joy to deal with. He will answer questions and explain everything and makes sure you understand. His staff is awesome, so friendly and caring! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgable, caring and professional Ophthalmologist!

Dr. Sobol did surgery on my left eye and I've been very pleased with the outcome as well as his follow up, and explam=nations on what to expect in the near future concerning my issue. I have gereat faith in him as a surgeon and will continue to go back to see his as needed, His staff are always very professional, and a very nice group of people!
