I have been a patient at Mercy Wellness for some time (5+ years), and unfortunately, my experience has steadily declined. What was once a facility that seemed genuinely focused on patient care has shifted toward what feels like a transactional, profit-driven approach. In recent visits, it has become increasingly apparent that there is a strong emphasis on requiring in-person appointments for even minor issues—many of which could reasonably be handled more efficiently. This creates the impression that patients are being asked to come in more frequently than necessary, resulting in additional co-pays and time commitments. Over time, this has felt less like coordinated care and more like unnecessary inconvenience. Communication and consistency are also areas of concern. While management appears willing to listen, policies and responses seem to change frequently, making it difficult to understand expectations or receive consistent care. Additionally, there have been instances where staff… members did not appear fully informed or confident in handling certain situations, and raising concerns has not led to meaningful resolution. Another point worth noting is the lack of visibility or interaction with the primary physician. Despite being a patient here, I have yet to meet Dr. Terry, which raises questions about continuity and oversight of care. Appointments are often delayed, and there always seems to be another reason to return for follow-up visits, which adds both financial strain and frustration. As a veteran/TRICARE beneficiary, I expected a higher standard of coordinated and patient-centered care. At this point, I am actively considering transferring to another provider. Overall, I can no longer recommend this location. The experience now feels more focused on revenue than on the well-being of patients, which is disappointing given how strong the initial impression was. Pros: Initially provided a positive and welcoming experience Some staff members are polite and attempt to listen to concerns Clean and organized facility Cons: Frequent and potentially unnecessary in-person visits Increased out-of-pocket costs due to repeated co-pays Inconsistent policies and communication Limited confidence in some staff knowledge and responsiveness Lack of interaction with primary physician Ongoing delays and inefficient appointment scheduling

I’m very pleased with Dr Terry and also his staff..... they are very caring and I’m very pleased with the treatment and concerned I have received from them

Very poor experience, will never go back. His staff seemed very inexperienced and under educated. He is only interested in writing prescriptions and getting you out the door. Obviously he does not treat his staff well, because you can see there is a huge turnover of employees. Went to Texas Med Clinic in Spring Branch, such a better experience and confident medical staff.

Caring doctor! Exact, precise, accurate diagnosis in a friendly office with concern for x-rays as needed, referrals and followup visits! Health at last! Thank you, Dr. Terry and Staff ??

We have been with Dr Terry for about a year. He is very personable and competent. Luckily we have been healthy so we haven’t needed anything but referrals for sleep apnea and rechecks on cholesterol.

Dr. Terry is awesome! Went above and beyond to help my son. He's kind and patient and personable. Very excited about his new practice!

He did not seem very interested in my complaints.
