Dr. Aarthi Arasu, MD

This office is so disorganized that it's embarrassing. The left hand doesn't know what the right is doing and they are very unprofessional. They wasted 5 months of my life. AVOID

I needed an Endocrinologist. I picked this physician due to being in the UCLA system, and I crossed my fingers. I am glad I did. Dr Arasu is very thorough and knowledgeable. She has a pleasant bedside manner. From my 2 visits with her, I give her 5 stars.

Dr. Arasu was the 3rd endocrinologist we interviewed, and sure enough, 3rd time was the charm. After my thyroid cancer surgery, she seamlessly took ownership of my case from my ENT surgeon and deftly handled/coordinated all the follow on treatments. She is highly competent and compassionate. As an associate professor, she is up on all the latest research and advances related to my conditions. In one of our earlier appointments, she spent a good half hour to detail plans and answer all my questions. More recently, Dr. Arasu stunned my friends when she called during Friday night dinner to share test results prior to Tuesday's report. I know she stayed late to save me from another anxious weekend. Really, who does that nowadays? With doctors like Dr. Arasu, it's no wonder UCLA is the best hospital in the western US. If you are looking for the best endocrinologist, stop, you just found her.
