Very, compaaionate & understanding. I'm new to the area but because of her care Seton Hospital will be my hospital. No offense,hopefully I won't need them :)

This Doctor works in the Emergency department at Seton Hospital off of A.W. Grimes in Round Rock. She was a NIGHTMARE!!! She treated me worse than the dirt at the bottom of her shoe. All she did was pump me full of pain meds. No labs were done. No x-rays. She even refused to call and speak with my neurosurgeon. I had not eaten for six days and had not drank for three. She didn't even give me fluids. RUN....(if you are able) if this is the doctor you face there.

My mother was in pain.Did not want to do even the first line labs or diagnostic exams.Was in a hurry to send us home.Did not explain well

She was prompt with my exam. I had barely changed into the lovely gown before she was in there to begin her exam. My wife and I gave the back story to my visit and she took the reins and began treatment. She was honest and genuinely cared for my well being.

I entered the hospital sick as a dog and Dr. Leyva was condescending and rude. My blood pressure was sky high and my EKG was out of whack. She didnt want to admit me but she did and I ended being very ill in the hospital for 4 days. If I hadnt insisted, she would have sent me home and I may have died.

went to e.r with blood pressure 197 over 97 and was released around 11:00 p.m she prescribed me medication but did not give me any medication to stablize my blood pressure, I actually was released with my bp at 205 over 111 higher than when I came through triage. cant fill my prescription til the following day...i LEFT WORSE THAN I WAS WHEN I WENT.
