Dr Manchanda is wonderful

I had a very disappointing and distressing experience with Dr. Manchanda. After he ordered a cardio CT scan for me, he never followed up to discuss the results. Weeks later, I checked my results in Epic MyChart on my own and was shocked to discover that I had been diagnosed with an ascending aortic aneurysm. I was in disbelief—how could a doctor fail to notify a patient about such a serious and abnormal finding? This lack of follow-up and communication is unacceptable and left me feeling abandoned during a critical time. I had to seek care from a different cardiologist, who thankfully provided the attention and guidance I needed. I would not recommend Dr. Manchanda to anyone seeking reliable and responsible medical care.

I really like the way he pays attention and responds to a specific question that I ask not in generalities. If not informed on the subject he gets informed before I see him again and makes notes. Tom is a real asset.

I've seen Dr. Manchanda for 3+ years on basics like pacemaker checks. Of course, the tech does most of that. His staff is great, and he is friendly and amiable. The pacemaker techs come in from St. George and Provo, so they are well-qualified. Recently, I had a heart attack and was given several reasons to doubt his accuracy. First, he put me on statins without doing a liver baseline. Second, he changed his mind three times about whether or not to prescribe nitroglycerin and how. Third, he insisted that my pacemaker wasn't designed to do what it does, i.e. speed up my heart during exercise. After the echo, he agreed that it in fact was. But for someone who's been seeing me for three years, I would expect him to know about the equipment I have in my chest!

He seemed to me to be very professional and I was given my cardiac testing at the facilities in the hospital. Very convenient. I have been to him for cardiac related testing twice.

I've never been so insulted in all my appointments with doctors. Ive been seeing multiple doctors since I was a kid because of my medical condition and Dr Manchanda was rude and insensitive. He will make you feel like you are a poor insignificant creature. The last time I cried was when my spouse passesd away 5 years ago and I left my appointment holding in my tears. I had to ask my son to drive me home because i was so upset from the encounter. I Would not recommend this doctor. Please go to other more professional doctors
