Dr. Aashish Ramesh Parikh, MD

I have been a patient for over 2 yrs and for the first time, Dr. Parikh is not at his office, not answering his phone or returning emails. I pray he is ok. It would be nice to know what to do about appointments and medication. It is expensive to pay new patient fees at another office. We would like to continue treatment with Dr. Parikh

Dors anybody know what is going on? Dr P did not show up to his officr 1p-8 or 10-9 209 . I cannot get ahold of him and need to know something

I've been diagnosed with ADHD for the last 20 years of my life. During that time, I've been treated by quite a few doctors. Without a doubt, Dr. Parikh is the best that I've ever had. Here is why: ***The only psychiatrist that I had who recognized the difference between ADHD, depression, and Bipolar(many don't)******He is current and knows his stuff. He actually adjusted a medication where two other doctors had failed*** I was really impressed when he pointed out that a medication wouldn't work because I had a surgery. ******His diagnosis is methodical, well-supported,and detailed. I hate visiting a psychiatrist who talks to me for minutes and then comes up with a diagnosis. One time, I had a psychiatrist tell me to start eating some natural foods. None of that goes on within him; everything that he tells me is justified with fact-based comments from literature.******Results: if you feel like you really have an urge to be the best you can be. But you always have that failure at… completing things (ADHD people will understand what I am talkin about)... Then, you will like this doctor. In 9 months of treatment, I've progressed greatly. I'm now on the cusp of making over 200K a year and establishing myself as a nationally known expert. I could barely graduate from college before hand. I always knew that I had potential, but I couldn't muster the focus to get it out.. not until my treatment was right. *******He doesn't try to rip you off. Those of you who have seen many psychiatrists will know that it can be like going to the mechanic. I once had a psychiatrist ask me to see her every 2 weeks for "marriage" counseling at $220.00 a visit in order to get the medication that I needed. Plus, I paid extra fees. This doctor did not do that. Once I was stabilized, I only needed to see the doctor once every 3 months. I've greatly appreciated this. He cares about results and his patients. *****He is simply the best psychiatrist that I've ever had. Every person has to make their own decisions and find the right psychiatrist. But I feel very fortunate to have him as my doctor. It's been a worthwhile investment. For those of you with ADHD, get him now while he is still available. He'll be one of those established big-time experts one day, who is very expensive and unreachable for the average person. He has that sort of talent and command of his trade. I feel lucky to have been treated by him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Parikh's for a relatively short period of time, but nonetheless, it has been long enough for me to appreciate that he is an excellent physician. While many doctors are intelligent and have a plethora of book knowledge, what makes Dr. Parikh stand out is that he boasts these attributes in addition to an affable bedside manner and unparalleled customer service. For example, I had difficulty filling my prescription this month due to national pharmacy/manufacturing shortages and called Dr. Parikh's office hoping that he would prescribe a similar medication that would be easier to find. Instead, he called me personally within about 20 minutes and told me of a specific pharmacy that had an adequate supply of that which he had originally prescribed. In doing so, I felt that he went above and beyond the level of effort necessary, and it made all the difference to me. Furthermore, there has not been a single instance that I was not able to contact him when… needed, and I am always able to make an appointment with him, even at the last minute.In the current era of managed care and trying to pack as many patients into the schedule as possible, it is very refreshing to find a physician who is easily-accessible, reliable, and seems to retain a respect for quality patient care that I feared had been abandoned by modern-day medical providers.Thank you, Dr. Parikh!

The appointments I have had so far - there has NEVER been wait time. As soon as I arrive, he is ready to go. After my initial visit, he contacted me just to see how I was doing. I have NEVER received that level of care and concern from any doctor I have ever had. Also, he returns calls in a timely manner. He is approachable, kind, professional, and helpful. He is truly amazing and ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! If you or a loved one needs help, please go see him.

After testing me, Dr. Parikh came to a conclusion quickly. Now after starting treatment, my life has changed for the better. I can't even begin to tell you with words how grateful I am for this Dr. helping me. This Dr. is great, he knows what he's doing, and he really cares! I would recomend him to any one who needed help!

Excellent Psychiatrist. I was so unstable when I began having psychosis and Dr. Parikh was very professional and caring that I was able to maintain control until the medications began to help.
