9/24/23 review pt was seen and treated as Neuroendocrine pancreatic tumor w SBRT (form of radiation) and early stage cancer due to many comorbid conditions and not surgical candidate. he relapsed unfortunately and was hospitalized at diff Hosp and referred to hospice. I was overseas when family might have called to talk to me in July. other oncologist at Gadsden did not have all details of his cancer and may have given some wrong info to pt family due to lack of all records. Anyways I take care of my patients very seriously and not happy for the unfortunate event which took place but sometimes it is the nature of cancer which dictates the outcome of any given patient and not the treating physician. My sympathies and condolences for the grieving family. My office tried to call family to arrange visit prior to him passing but family did not want to come. I am open to meeting with them and discussing anything.

Only one star given because it was required. My dad died of pancreatic cancer just over a week ago. He was diagnosed in February. When given his diagnosis, it was a small tumor located only in his pancreas. After his diagnosis there was zero urgency to start any treatment or even go over options. It was over a month before anything was discussed. He finally started radiation and completed that in May. He did not have another appointment regularly scheduled after that until August- a week after he died. Pancreatic cancer is fast moving and nobody seemed to care that much time was passing. He went to the hospital for a pain blocker in July which was not able to be performed, but testing was done while there and we were told his tumor had shrunk significantly. A week or so after being told that, he had to go to the hospital again (different hospital) and while there, he was told that his cancer had actually spread. To his liver, stomach, and lymph nodes. He was released and sent home to… start palliative hospice care. My mom called this doctor's office and left a message for him that she had several questions. Nobody ever called her back. Nobody has still called her back. My dad died a week after being out of the hospital. Which was a week before his next scheduled appointment. How does a doctor get it so incorrect? His tumor dis not spread everywhere in a week. Maybe if he had more urgency to help my dad, he would still have a little bit left to live. This was complete neglect and I have lost my dad because of this careless doctor. We picked up his ashes on my birthday. I hate this doctor. As a person, and professionally.

Patient, kind, and caring. He does not rush you and listens intently to your concerns and comments.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer Aug, 2017! He treated me and my family as if we are his personal family and still does!!! Friendly loving staff as well!! He feeds you also if you are there during lunch or shortly after .... If you ever need a oncologist he is the best

Dr. Sehbai took care of me from start to finish with my ovarian cancer diagnosis and treatment. Each time I met with him he made me feel like I was his only patient and he had all the time in the world to answer my questions and put me at ease. I always enjoyed seeing him and his bright smile that was reflected in every person that worked with him.

Dr. Sehbai understands a patient's anxiety in relationship to a possibly tough diagnosis. He called me at home to advise me of test results on two occasions. I am grateful that he will be able to continue to be my doctor.

Dr Sehbai helped my father in an advanced lung cancer situation and was very compassionate and caring.

THIS IS A COMPASIONATE AND VERY INTELLIGENT DOCTOR. HE WILL SPEND AS MUCH TIME A YOU NEED FOR EVEN A SMALL PROBLEM.HE SAT UP ONE NIGHT AT 2 IN THE MOIRNUNG WITH ME, IN THE HOSPITAL, RESEARCHING CHEMO DRUGS. THAT SAMENIGHT, THIS HUMBLE AN DID NOT EVEN CARE WHEN I THREW UP ON HIS SHOES, HE JUST HELD MY HEAD.
