Horrible doctor! This man does not listen to his patients needs or concerns. All this man does is discharge sick patients. SHAME ON NORTHWELL!!!

If I could give this zero I would. Last month surgery, last week broken finger, this week in for recurrent bells palsy/possible Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. Went to see someone on er because needed proper meds immediately so there is no permanent damage to my face always came to er since the specialists arent in when it occurs. Waited 4 hours to be seen when hospital was empty, told him about the pain, the no sleep, what it seemed to be since I had it multiple times, needed a neuro referral and usually they do blood and ct scan to make sure its not a stroke. He did not examine me, no bloodwork, didnt look at my past history, no ct scan. I told him out loud NO PAINKILLERS !!!! all I want is the needed meds steroids, antiviral ect and something to help me sleep since i do have to attend to a child and work. This man said the emergency room does not write out scripts which is a lie, he gave me the lowest dose of antivirals which now I have to face losing function in my face permanently, never… mind the lack of sleep I have had and he decided to label my documents as an opioid user (a drug addict) which I am far from maybe if he looked at my chart hed see I was on it for surgery and a broken finger. Its a shame the hospital lets in such horrible doctors the only one who seemed to care was doctor caputo, just because your arm isnt ripped off doesnt mean that something serious isnt going on with the patient.

I went to the ER today due to excessive diarrhea for 3 days and it just keeps getting worse. I am also a breast feeding mother. I told him I came in since I noticed a dramatic drop in my milk supply over the last 24 hours probably due to some vomiting and extreme diarrhea.When I told him this he said "well 8 months is when mothers see a decrease in milk supply anyway, it's probably coincidence" He didn't give me fluids ... nothing. Instead he prescribed me nausea medicine. And discharged me within a few minutes. He should not be in the ER. The last time I was in the ER they took great care of me.
