Dr. Abbie Louise Fields, MD

Dr. Fields has a terrible and dismissive bedside manner. She did not listen to my concerns and made several errors in my procedure. Do not see this physician. You will be much better served elsewhere.

I recently visited Dr Fields for a diagnosis of uterine cancer as a second opinion. After I met her I found her bedside manner excellent , understood considerably more about my disease process than from my previous provider and decided to transfer my care to her. I had an excellent experience and excellent outcome Very happy with my choice. Love her and appreciate her personal touch on patient care

I had been seen by 3 different Gyn Oncologists and was unsure what surgery was best for me. After seeing Dr Fields I was comfortable with our conversation and believed Dr Fields had my best interest in sight. I had an excellent outcome, appreciate the time she spent with me before and after surgery and would recommend her to anyone with a Gyn Oncology problem

Dr. Fields was an angel for our family. My mother had an 18cm mass on her ovaries. Mom was in horrible pain. Dr. Fields got her in immediately and performed surgery. It was her concern for my mom and our family that meant so much. We can't thank her enough.

I had a negative and strange experience with this Dr. Verbal statements about my health did not always match what was in my written medical paperwork. This was revealed to me by my physician of 2nd opinion. Dr. Fields several time verbally said things while giving me results telling me wrong numbers, and just simply said oh sometimes I make these little mistakes. Her PA prescribed on one occasion a nerve relaxing class drug without even asking me to my chemo regimen. I asked to be explained pathology, and some of the other things in the med records and she seemed concerned that I was inquiring. This is my experience and I would enter there at your own risk. Maybe your experience would be all together different but I would suggest doing your homework and weighing out all of your options to choose the right Dr.

I found the doctor to be rude. I was asked ridiculous questions like if I had a regular cell phone or a prepaid plan?? I left the visit with more questions then I came in with. This woman had no compassion. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy!

I couldn't have asked a a better Dr. At this scary and emotional time for me, she just was the greatest, and made me feel like an individual and had genuine concern. I just live her and would refer anyone to her.

Dr. Fields was a wonderful doctor during a very difficult time in my life.

I was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst, that required surgery. Dr. Fields was wonderful about telling me about the situation and the options, listening to my questions, and taking her time answering everything. After other doctors saying that I'd have to lose my ovary during the surgery (laparotomy), Dr. Fields managed to save it, and only take the cyst out. The entire time she was confident, and comforting. After the surgery I had no pain, or discomfort. Stayed one night, during which she followed up with her entire team. Less than a week later I am back to normal, working, etc. At the follow up, she took her time, and discussed any questions I had. Wonderful person, professional, badass of a doctor. :)

I have been evaluated by many physicians and have never felt as comfortable and well cared for as I have with Dr Fields. Thank goodness it is still posiible to find quality doctors
