Dr. Abby Suzanne Landzberg, MD

Dr. Landzberg lacked bedside manner and made little effort to make it seem as though she wanted to listen to what I had to say. When she came in, she did not introduce herself and immediately jumped into old test results despite that I had new items I wanted to discuss with her. She was also very pushy of dieting and even pressed that I should be walking more despite my explanation that I have a physical disability. She did not explain the medication she prescribed clearly and did not have any answers or comments on the worries I had that were most prominent. I will be seeing a different endocrinologist moving forward. I feel as though she was not equipped to treat me, being that I am a patient with some rare conditions. She stated that "people like me" didn't "walk into her office." I hope that with future patients, especially those with disabilities, she can be more empathetic, show more interest in their medical history, and come from a "health at every size" perspective.… Ultimately, I left her office feeling worse.

Do not, do not, do not see this horrible excuse of a woman who clearly needs to lose her medical license. TERRIBLE! Clearly doesn’t know what she’s talking about!!!!

Dr Abby has been a wonderful caregiver for my diabetes. Our office visits are never rushed and she reviews my entire medical history. Her manner is welcoming and I feel comfortable with her

Had an appointment at 245 was still sitting in waiting room at 5pm. Got put in a room only to wait another half hour. This dr doesn’t know how to communicate with her patients and has no social skills. She is so unbelievably awkward. After several visits I will not be returning g to see her again.

Have been seeing this doctor about 2 years. Absolutely no people skills, has tunnel vision, does not want to hear about any symptoms/diagnosis except for the disease that I'm there for. Even if they may be connected. I'll never go back.

I’ve been going to Abby Landzberg for 14 months for abnormal weight gain, likely due to menopause. A year later, and even 22 lbs heavier, she has not done a thing to help diagnose or treat my issue. She runs lab tests, based on my own requests, for hormonal imbalances vitamin deficiencies etc., has prescribed diet medication, based on my own suggestions, from commercials I’ve seen on TV. In a sense, I feel like I’m my own doctor here and just see her each month and pay a co-pay for no benefit! I work out, watch my diet, and have learned from other nurses in the practice that others endocrinologists have successfully helped them with similar hormonal issues causing weight gain. So, I’ve realized it’s long over due that I sever this doctor relationship that has wasted a year of my life! Furthermore, each prescription has been written incorrectly, and required me to call the office to have them correct it. Tests are always miscoded and insurance bills are incorrect because of her… errors. Quite frankly, I think she’s also suffering from menopause brain fog herself!! I can NOT recommend this doctor!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Landzberg for over five years and have found her to be competent, However, I have always waited at least 45 minutes for my appointment. After waiting 2 hours last visit and still not seeing the doctor, I left for the last time.

About two weeks ago my PCP found a nodule on my thyroid and had me go for an ultra sound the following day. After receiving the results she referred me to this doctor. Today I had my appointment and was so unimpressed. I have been nervous for this appointment seeing as how my mother had thyroid removed. This doctor had no patient skills/ bedside manner. I did not need to get the warm fuzzies from her-- I just wanted a good doctor who would be as concerned as I was and take my anxieties and try to relieve them. Well-- she had not even looked at my ultra sound or lab results until I was sitting there. She didn't seem to care about what I had to say as far as symptoms were concerned. She put me on a medication without even telling me she was doing so. My biopsy is scheduled three weeks from now. It's " probably" benign. When scheduling my biopsy I asked that I not have it with this doctor. Needless to say, my anxiety is higher than ever and I still have no answers. There was no need for… this appointment -- apparently just a reason to get money from my insurance company .

Like the doctor; don't like the staff
