Dr. Abdalla Mohamed Yousif, MD

Dr Yousif was the covering doctor for my primary who was on vacation. I was concerned with some blood test results and wanted to see a doctor right away. There was no problem getting in to see Dr Yousif even though he was covering and handling my doctor's patients as well as his own. Dr Yousif took his time to read all of my results even before I saw him and discussed with me the various possibilities for my blood test results. He ordered another blood workup for a specific area just to make sure that I was OK. I found him to be very thorough and professional. I was very surprised to read some of the other reviews. It didn't seem like we had encountered the same doctor. I have even recommended him to some members of my family. I never felt rushed which is a bonus in this new medical care envirnoment. My experience with Dr Yousif was only positive.

rude, unprofessional. told me he was not my primary when asked for a prescription refill, meanwhile I am in the office for my yearly physically? makes sense. did blood work in the office non fasting so of course my lab values would not be accurate. prescribed me cholesterol medication without telling me. The way I found out was from my pharmacy calling saying my prescription was ready. Office never called me with my results. over a week later I called and asked for someone to give me my blood work results. Would not recommend this physician to anyone and I work in the healthcare industry as an RN.

He was HORRIBLE! He served as my attending physician during my recent hospitalization. I had severe abdominal pain. I was only in overnight under observation and that wouldn't have even happened had my husband not put up a stink in the emergency room. Since he had no idea what was wrong with me and ran out of ideas for tests to run, he decided the best idea was to discharge me even though I was still in terrible pain and my condition had not improved The extent of the physical examination he did on me consisted of only lightly palpating a few spots on my abdomen and listening to my lung sounds from my chest and sides since I was unable to sit up on my own due to the severe pain! Further to that point, he discharged me without an order for any sort of pain medication! When I told him that i can't function at home or at work like this, his recommendation was to go out on disability even though that wasn't what I wanted. When I asked him who would be responsible for filling out disability… papers if it came to that, he said "Not me....I don't do that!" By admitting me under him as the attending physician he took on primary responsibility for my care! If you're in the market for a doctor who passes you off to follow up with someone else when he runs out of ideas, this is just the right doctor for you!
