Dr. Abdi Abbassi, MD

for me I can say that Dr. Abdi Abbassi and his staff upfront/billing and the anthologist was top notch. He took Dr. Abbassi took the time to speak with me about my issue as (I was referred) and the procedure that would take place. Again for Me I considered him and his staff Fantastic. This is My Opinion!

Dr. Abdi Abbassi is a old throw back when doctors were concerned about their patients and he is a people person doctor and his staff top notch they are very courteous and friendly and during these days most customer service staffing of any offices treat you as if you're less than nothing and talk to you as if you are an imbecile & without any people skills whatsoever. Let me tell you about the Dr., on my first visit for consultation he ensured that I understood what H-pylori was and the procedure that would take place and he also took the time to put my unrest of the impending procedure at ease. He noted my concerns and apprehension and he talked me through it all before it took place. The day of the procedure his Staff was again very pleasant for I had a very early time, I give Kudos to his Anthologist staff for again I have a fear of needles(don't like them) and not crazy about various medications after effects, everyone who claims to be able to insert needles can not. The… Anthologist talked to me while inserting needle for medication I never felt it and she as Dr. Abbassi explained that the only after effect of the medication would be that of very good sleep. Which it was! I would recommend Dr. Abdi Abbassi and all of his staff at the Riverside office for your Gastroenterology needs(especially the Coloscopy)!!!!!

VERY PLEASANT DOCTOR MADE ME FEEL AS EASE GOOD BEDSIDE MANOR

I was called in to go over my results from my procedure, I waited 40 minutes to see Abbassi. When he comes in he states I need another colonoscopy (which I already knew because I was told this after my procedure as well as received a phone call) so I'm like ok let's schedule it. At that point my appointment would've been over. *he's getting ready to walk out* So I'm like wait I thought y'all had results to read.. He just continues to repeat I need another colonoscopy. I'm like I know can you tell me my results from the procedure and blood work. So he's refusing. Then I tell him I've been experiencing flare up symptoms and need some medicine to hold me until my next infusion. He said I'm not proscribing you anything because idk what's going on with your colon. But y'all have results. Then he proceeds to tell me I need to finds a new doctor. All I wanted was help getting my disease under control and because I was persistent never being rude he told me I need to go somewhere else. No… problem it shows you never cared about my health

Run away from this awful place Unprofessional. This man wouldn’t look at you, doesn’t even READ your test results. He send me back home bleeding, in pain, without a single explanation about what was going on. Their nurses sent me 4 times the daily max dose of PREDNISONE and when i told the doctor he didn’t even acknowledged what I said!!! End of story? I picked all my results and went to another doctor. Part (only part) of what has been going on with me has been on the lab test results THE WHOLE TIME!!! This piece of doctor should be asking forgiveness. I encourage everyone to leave an honest review about this “doctor” and take him out of business!!

Dr. Abbassi is my doctor for years now, he really knows what he is doing. Christina and his other employees help me out a lot. Very professional.
