First meeting I had spend the majority of it talking about his personal life and asked me few questions. Changed my diagnosis that I've had for half a decade, leading to a change in my coverage. Pushed meds towards me every visit I had with him, despite me explaining my comfort level with that. One medicine he pushed towards me that I took did nothing, so I followed his instructions to taper off of them. Was not warned fully about withdrawal symptoms beforehand, I suffered from brain zaps for months. If you have him as a psychiatrist, look elsewhere immediately. He will not pay attention to your needs, and that can be deadly in this profession.

Arrogant, condescending and unprofessional.

If I could give zero stars or negative stars, I would. He saw my schizophrenic son in the middle of a psychotic episode and made my son and his mother leave, because he became frightened. No discussion, no follow-up. Zero help.

I have an extensive history with psychiatrists and medicines for bipolar disorder. In an attempt to be helpful, I faxed him a list of both. Because of this, he refused to take my calls. In a short time I ran out of meds and was in a bad way until I contacted my previous doctor.. He took me back without a problem.
