before considering this doctor please read all of the reviews. Their hearing test room is filthy. They overbook so you wait times are very very long. The equipment they use is outdated by many years.

I don't now where to begin. I waited for an appointment for 2 weeks. I arrived at the appointed time and had to wait over 1 hour in the waiting room to see the doctor. When I finally saw him he seemed rude and obnoxious. He did not say hello, he did not introduce himself, nor did he seem to have even read the form I had just filled out describing my sinus pain and cough. I was told to sit in a chair and he told me to open my mouth, when he leaned in to look in my mouth his breath was simply horrid. He must suffer from halitosis because I gagged by the stench of his breath when he came close to me. Then he asked if I smoked, to which I said no. Without pause he then asked again, do you smoke, I was like ah, no. He then started talking about cancer, and I was like ah what about my sinuses? He told me to lose weight, and I was like what about my sinuses? He then wrote me a prescription for Claritin and told me to come back in 2 weeks. No good bye, no thank you, no hand shake. He just… handed me the prescription and told me to see the receptionist, when he said that I again smelled his breath and it almost made me puke. When I went out to the receptionist she demanded cash for the co-pay. I asked if they took credit cards and she rudely said, cash-only. She asked when I would like my follow-up appointment and I just said, I don't. This doctor is an old, angry, with no bed side manner - with breath like rotting fish. Stay away.

I have never reviewed a doctor before but feel I must review Dr. Lelani. After waiting almost an hour past my appointment time, I was finally greeted by Dr Lelani with sit in this chair. Not a handshake, my name is, or a smile. Are these three things all that difficult to do to make a patient feel comfortable with you? I feel I was treated rudely with my complaints and was told outright that hearing aids do not cause ear or bone pain like I am having. He looked in my mouth and told me I had white patches on my cheeks. He asked me three different times if I smoked. The last time the question was do you smoke or use any kind of tobacco products. When I answered NO to the above question I would have thought he would understand what NO meant. He was not interested in treating the problem other than telling me it could lead to a cancerous problem and I should wash my mouth twice a day with Peroxide and water and see my dentist. But still wants me to come back in four week for a… follow up visit. That certainly is not going to happen with this man. I tried to address a sleep apnea problem, was told to see a pulmonologist and did not get a referrral. When told the ear pain was likely TMJ, I asked for the name of a doctor that delt with TMJ. He bluntly told me there was not one in this area, I should check the yellow pages outside the area. When you fill out the pages of information that is required before you see the doctor, I expect the doctor to look those papers over and see what my major complaints are. I am saddened to think there is a man of this rude caliber practicing medicine. What happened to a cordial bedside manner and a smile or even a thank you for coming in. I will not nor would I refer anyone to this man. He may be a good doctor, I would not know with the treatment I received, I will not be going back.

Was refered to Dr. Lelani on account of my constant tonsilitis. It took forever to get in for an appointment. When I finally got in there were a lot of things which bothered me about the Dr. and the staff. First off, the office only accepts cash and checks for the co-pay. I wish they had mentioned this before I got there, as I never have cash on me and always pay by debit card. The wait was 45 minutes +. When Dr. Lelani came in to see me it was a rather odd 5 minutes of being seen. When he speaks he does not look at the patient which makes him come across cold and disconnected. He asked questions that had nothing to do with me health problems. Like why I was overweight? And for how long? Then he told me I would have to come back in for further testing and he gave me 2 prescriptions, which I assumed were for my tonilitis. I had to get a new appointment at the front desk. I was not able o get in for another week and a half. When I finally got my medicine from Walgreens I was told he had… prescribed me a nose spray and Claritin. Again, what does that have to do with my severe pain and tonsilitis. So now in between appointments I am left to take Ibuprofen every 4-6 hours to be able to tolerate the pain of the infection of the tonsilitis. Unfortunatelly he is the only doctor in Yuma that still removes tonsils from adults. If I dont go with him I have to drive all the way to Phoenix. If I had a choice I would not use him as a doctor. Terrible bedside manners, very cold and rude. Do not recommend.
