Dr. Abdul Munem Kenj Halabi, MD

I saw Dr. Halabi for a second opinion a few weeks ago. He had really familiarized himself with my chart. He ruled out Lupus and psoriatic arthritis which were potential diagnosis's. He did see something in my history and other labs. He was sure I had an endocrine condition and he got me in to see one 2 days later and she confirmed it. I am so grateful for his expertise and the possibility of being pain free eventually!

My experience with Dr. Halabi is that he seems kind, listens well, is warm. But all he really did apart from listen was press on some of my joints and tell me I have fibromyalgia, rather than doing a more thorough exam or ordering more tests.

I saw Dr Halabi for the first time and could not have asked for a kinder “gentleman” , he understood my pain and knew exactly what I was feeling, he didn’t brush me off and say it’s age related, or that I need to take better care of my self..he understood that my pains are everywhere, not just in a bone or a joint but it a muscular skeletal pain. I’m praying that this treatment works and I become pain free.

Dr. Halabi dismissed my symptoms and told me to gain 40 pounds and eat a cheeseburger. I have seen other rheumatologists that have helped me and I can honestly say he is the worst.
