Dr. Abe is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and the International College of Dentists. He is also a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
An active member of his …community, Dr. Abe was recognized as Rotary Meadville Citizen of the Year in 1990 and 1997. In 2002, he received the Governor Raymond P. Shafer Award for Distinguished Community Service.
Dr. Abe is a member of Christ Episcopal Church. He and his wife Jeanne have three sons. Dr. Abe enjoys boating and is a Naval and Civil War Historian. He is also a member of the Crawford County Historical Society-Civil War Roundtable.
