Dr. Abel Rivero, MD

My first visit with Dr. Rivers and first visit to a cardiologist ever. A very busy office, but efficient. I was taken back to his office on time. Dr. RIVERO'S medical assistant. Kristen, is extremely personable, listens well, gives feedback, is patient and a nice sense of humor. You feel instant rapport and comfort. Dr. Rivero is very professional, asks questions, listens attentively and doesn't hesitate to offer advice or provide a different prescription. He has a busy office, so getting an appointment to follow-up with some tests needed are several weeks out. I was scheduled with his PA to get information sooner. That may or may not be a future issue. Time will tell.

Dr. Rivero listened carefully to my concerns. He is truly a professional, knowledgeable and compassionate in my opinion. Without a doubt I trust him with my health.

Explained test results and ordered additional testing to get a complete picture. Discussed medication management. Felt like I had a better picture of my heart health.

Dr rivero is awesome doctor cares about your well being and health orders test to determine how to help you the staff does schedule are just as awesome

Dr. Rivero has been my cardiologist for 13 years. He has correctly diagnosed my critical cardiac problems , given the appropriate treatment or referred me to other competent physicians and hospitals in the area. He is extremely competent and compassionate and takes time to answer all questions. I have never felt rushed through an appointment with him. Because of his knowledge and thorough examinations, I owe him my life. I am extremely thankful for Dr. Rivero and the staff at Citrus Cardiology in The Villages.
