Dr. Abhijit Chatterjee, MD

Dr. Chatterjee is a knowledgeable, compassionate, kind caregiver. He is most concerned with quality of life and not with treating an illness if it will not improve a person's quality of life. My Mother was so relieved that he did not insist she get chemo for an incurable cancer. He helped her make her own choice, rather than insisting he knew what was best. I highly recommend him.

I really do not recommend seeing this doctor if you are looking for somebody extremely thorough and compassionate. From my experience, he has been very uninterested in my diagnosis and not sympathetic towards my emotions whatsoever. At my first appointment he was very rude when discussing my abnormal weight gain.. Used the expression "dont you want to be beautiful" and "wouldnt you like to date and be confident" in a snarky tone. At my second appointment he was also very quick to get me out of the office and wrote me a prescription for medication. His office staff is not friendly or welcoming and they hardly ever answer the phone. Took me an entire week to get in touch with them to schedule a appointment. When I walked in the receptionist looked at me and said "oh". This was the last appointment I will be having with this doctor. Im sure he knows what he is doing medically, but his bed side manner and office staff is absolutely terrible. If you are looking for a friendly doctor,… this guy probably is not the best choice.

i just want to say that Dr. Chattergee is a wonderful doctor. In a world where medicine has become a business, this is a man who truly exemplifies the meaning of physician. He is caring and respectful at all times to his senior patients. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you have done for my parents. May your many kindnesses come back to you as blessings many times over.
