Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I am proud to be a member of such an outstanding medical group, and I look forward to assisting you with any medical problems you may have. BiographyI am from India, where I went to medical school. Having traveled to and worked in so many countries, it has given me a broader perspective on life and how fortunate we are to be in the United States. My family shares my enthusiasm and the need to serve our less fortunate brothers and sisters here in the U.S. as well as in developing countries. I have been blessed with a lovely family. I love to play with my 12-year-old son. He loves football and basketball! Like all families, we have our ups and downs - but my wife is the one who keeps us all going!About my practiceI work in the Emergency Medicine Department and have been here for almost 20 years! I love working with the people who enter the department at anytime with any kind …of emergency condition: heart attack, sprained ankle, emergency delivery of a baby, an injury from a car accident or a gun shot wound, a simple boil or a nasty stomach infection. There is another thing I love: teaching! I love to share my knowledge with nurses, medical students and doctors in training. I also work as a clinical assistant professor at USC. I believe that as a physician, I have the obligation to my patients to give them the best, most up-to-date care I can.How I thriveI believe my life is meant for serving and giving, and the best way for me to accomplish that is to for me to be good at my work. In order to do everything I want, I know I have to keep myself fit. I exercise three times weekly and do yoga. I love to play football and watch basketball games. I also like to travel to little-known places and talk to people of different cultures. My parents have been Kaiser Permanente members for decades, and I have great faith in the care that they receive by my colleagues.
