Dr. Abhinetri Pandula, MD

My Aunt went to Dr Pandula, coz a friend referred. She mistreated her and she has sever allergies with the medicine prescribed by Dr Pandula. Dr Pandula, shouldn't be allowed to practice. She has attitude problem. Need to work on her behavior with patients.

I saw Dr. Pandula. She might be okay for simple physicals or an office visit, but I would not trust her if you have a serious medical problem or need a specialty diagnosis or referral to surgery. She will not allow you to ask any questions or provide answers. Her style of communication is very one-sided, frustrating and demeaning. I would not recommend her except travel shots or vaccines. If I could have scored her "zero" that would be my rating.

She judges you as soon as you walk in the door. Some people are just not meant to be a doctor. Or just stopped caring after a while. After the first visit I shook it off and decided to give her another chance as everyone has their bad days. But after explaining to her my problem again she has the same attitude. Even though I was in pain (that the Kaiser doctors caused but did not tell her that). She had the nerve to tell me that she doesn't believe me. Did minimal tests. And caused me to start crying in the office because of how rude she was. She had no emotion. Just asked if that was it and left. She then called to say that they found something on my test results and when I asked more questions about it she continually talked over me and cut me off saying that I told you it is common and I just have to let you know. You don't need to know more. I already told you. I don't know anything about cyst or tumors on my ovaries so when I found out of course I want to know more about it.… Such a horrible experience. I have not seen her or talked with her but she continues to try to "have the last word" when doctors contact her for more information. I wish that I did have a good experience like others as she could be a great doctor but just chooses not to. I did not want to say anything as I know she will try and retaliate. But not even a sorry or I understand from her so others need to know.

Warm, caring and professional! Dr. Pandula had treated me for some time prior to her move to Kaiser. I have nothing but great things to say about her. I only wish she was still my doctor!

This doctor doesn't want to treat sick or elderly patients. If you are going to her for a well-check and you are in good health...no problem. However, if you need a diagnosis or a referral to a specialist- go elsewhere. She is arrogant and condescending and has forgotten her oath to "do no harm."

Dr. Pandula is a very sharp internist with a good referral network, as well. She goes beyond the call in following through with lab and test results promptly, is deliberative in treatments, and is available off hours to respond and assist. And she is genuinely a warm and kind person. Now that she is at Kaiser, we will miss her. Queen's has lost a great doctor.

Dr. Pandula is a very caring doctor. I like that she genuinely listens to you and discusses options.

It was a Saturday and Grandmother had an urinary infection. I was told by her doctor that She would have to be seen before She could get a prescription and the only clinic beside Queens er was Hawaii Kai. I didn't want her to waiting for hours so called the Hawaii Kai clinic. It took a little persuasion but we finally got an appointment. We were quite happy with Dr Padula with her professionalism and warm friendly and caring manner. I would surely she her again. If I lived in Hawaii Kai I would surely g to her. The staff was also very friendly and warm just like family. I would go with her in the future. Great choice for a doctor!
