Very concerned about my health and the course of action we were going to take to make me well

To begin ,,, I made my appointment for 1:30 pm on a Friday.. I was greeted by "Donna" with "what are you here for?" Excuse me ???? Totally unprofessional and to add on to the disrespect I was told that my appoinment wasn't until 4:15 I informed "Donna" that no , my appointment is at 1:30 very rudely she began to roll her eyes and stated that they didn't make the appointment and the main office made the mistake... After being treated like a bag of dead bones her "friend" office manager jump in and was twice as rude!!! Never have I seen staff eating at the front desk and arguing with patients .. Total let down!!! By the time they got me back into a room I seen the doctor and wondered if he'd seen me!? Zero eye contact what so ever... I could've saved money and googled home remedies and save a headache and copay... This location is on Essington street in joliet Illinois ... I am not saying primary care is a bad place there are some doctors id recommend!!

I work on roofs for a living and unfortunatly a nail made it's way through my boot. I decided to go see the doctor because I couldn't remember the last time I had a tetnus shot. When I arrived at the office I was greeted by the office staff. They were very nice and very helpful especially since I did not have an appointment. I don't have insurance and they were very understanding and they did all they could for me. I waited maybe a total of 5 minutes in the waiting room before the nurse took me to a room and the doctor entered the room about 10 minutes later. He asked how I was doing and introduced himself while shaking my hand. He was very attentive throughout the entire visit, you could tell he cared about what I had to say. He had his nurse administer the tetnus shot and I was on my merry little way. Overall I had a very pleasant experience at this office and I will be coming back if I ever need anything else. Dr. Mehta is a VERY good doctor.

I have had Dr. Mehta for about 3 years. I love his bedside manners, he is very good. I would recomend him to anyone I know.

I met him the first time for cold/sinus issues. He was very cold and only made eye contact when he initially walked in the room. As I asked him questions, he was typing info into the computer and never looked in my direction. After doing a very quick exam, he asked where my pharmacy was. I told him and he told me that he'd send my prescriptions there. I had to ask him "what do I have" as he never told me what my diagnosis was. I also asked about getting a new prescription for migraines because the one from my last doctor expired. He never asked anything about my migraines, just asked what my last prescription was and send he'd send it to the pharmacy. I will be changing doctors because this was an awful experience.

This doctor was nice in the beginning but when he made a comment about patient's insurance company that does not pay them much, I told myself that this physician is all about money and not health care for the patients. As time went on, his arrogance started showing and he does not spend much time to discuss anything. It's pretty much "Hello how are you? and till next time " kind of visit. It's a waste of insurance company money to be paying this guy. Not to mention, a waste of our time. The office location is perfect for us, but I wish they'd replace him with someone else or at least have another physician there besides him. We will not come back there again, unless physician is replaced.
