She ignored me and her staff ignored me when I expressed concern about the localization of the savvy, which then resulted in a completely failed surgery. I now need at least two more and probably three to fix what she did and the lesion isn’t even out. She treated my legitimate concern as a mental health issue (women be hysterical, right?) as opposed to a critical safety issue. She did not tell me about multiple negative outcomes or things that could happen, and when I asked her what she would do for certain negative outcomes, she lied and then did something different than what she told me when the thing that I was worried about happened. She blamed her staff for her lack of action on my warnings and completely misrepresented everything that she would do. I saw the great reviews. They are not accurate. I’m wrecked and it will cost tens of thousands in fees and lost wages to try and get back to what I was before I chose her, and it’s not even cancer. If I pass during the invasive and… long surgeries I now need it’s on her. Like she cares.

Dr. Beard is truly the best! From the very first appointment, she made me feel at ease with her warm and compassionate bedside manner. She is incredibly caring, always takes the time to listen, and explains everything clearly. One of the things I appreciated most was how quickly she called with test results—her communication is excellent and really helped ease my anxiety throughout the process. On top of all that, she’s a fantastic surgeon. I felt completely confident in her hands and am so grateful for the exceptional care I received. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

I was referred to Dr. Beard from a client/friend whom I couldn’t see for insurance reasons. I was seen at an emergency room (not TGH) and sent home with a lump and massive infection in my left breast. I had no idea what to do so thru my client she referred Dr. Beard who got me in the following day! Everyone at this facility was very caring, compassionate and definitely exceeded my expectations! And when I say everyone I mean EVERYONE! I’m so glad I met her and she was able to help me. Thank you all for making me feel comfortable and safe!

I just adore Dr. Abigaial Beatd. I cannot say enough to describe how wonderful she is. I had gone to see another breast surgeon, but another surgeon who took care of me for a separate issue strongly recommended I see Dr. Beard. I am so happy I did. Every staff member was so professional, caring and patient with me. I just completed my breast cancer treatments yesterday and only have my routine follow-ups moving forward. I will be forever greatful to the surgeon who referred Dr. Beard to me. Go see Dr. Beard. You will be happy you did!
