My experience with Abbi was disappointing and unhelpful. She commented on my acne, which was unrelated to the reason for my visit, and did not offer any constructive advice regarding it. The lab result I came in to discuss was slightly outside the normal range, but she firmly stated it was not the cause of my symptoms and advised that I didn’t need to follow up for another year. When I became emotional out of frustration at not receiving any answers or support, she spent the remainder of the appointment focusing on anxiety as the likely cause and recommended I see a psychiatrist. I already have long-term care with both a psychiatrist and a therapist, which she was aware of. These discussions felt outside her scope of practice, and she even acknowledged that herself. Overall, I left feeling dismissed and unsupported.
