Dr. Abigail Snyder

Abigail Snyder, LCSW (she/her) is a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist based in New York City. She is dedicated to helping individuals heal, grow, and move beyond the experiences that have shaped them. Abigail believes that each person holds the capacity for meaningful change and works collaboratively with clients to build on their inherent strengths and resilience.Her approach is relational, collaborative, and strengths-based, with a focus on understanding how life experiences—particularly trauma—impact both emotional well-being and the nervous system. Abigail specializes in the treatment of trauma and has over a decade of experience utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support deep, lasting healing.
