I tried to schedule an appointment to see Dr Shroff, but she didn’t have availability for a year. I was offered to see her NP and could see her in a few months. I had a referral from another physicians so the office was aware of what I was seeing her for. They allowed me to make my appointment, called to confirm my appointment and sent multiple text messages also confirming my appointment. I temporarily live out of the state for work and I flew into Houston specifically for this appointment. The DAY BEFORE my appointment, the office called to tell me that she does not see patients for what I was referred for and they were canceling my appointment. Completely unprofessional and unapologetic about the fact that this happened. I explained to her that I flew into town for this appointment and she didn’t seem to care. Told me to call another doctor at another clinic to make a new appointment. I can’t believe they think this is acceptable. If I had to call to cancel for a family emergency… you better believe they would charge me, but have no issues waiting until the day before my appointment to figure this out and then cancel me.
