My four children have been patients of Dr Green for many years. My adult children wish he continued as their doctor. I am an RN and found him to be an excellent diagnostician. Thorough exams. Time to ask questions or voice concerns after the exam. Mostly 10-15 minute wait times. Once or twice they were busy with an asthmatic child and I waited more than 30 minutes (it was flu season too). I am also a school nurse in one of the communities he practices so I have professional contact with the office as well and trust him unconditionally.

This doctor actively compromised my child’s health by refusing to listen to listen to my concerns, verbally attacking me when I asked cogent questions about possible treatment options, and dismissed her symptoms without adequately examining her. Arrogant doesn’t begin to describe him—he is condescending and rude and just downright unprofessional. His behavior and attitude are toxic to good patient care. Parents beware!

I am not one to write reviews, but I felt I had to warn other parents about this doctor. This doctor is beyond belief rude, passive aggressive and disrespectful. He should not be working with pediatrics. He did not complete my child’s routine checkup. My child was being difficult (typical toddler) so the nurse wrongfully left the room without checking my child’s height, weight and head circumference. Nurse said Dr. would check it and he never did. He clearly did not have the patience for a crying child and was extremely rude to me as the parent.

Highly recommended. Very professionally run office.

Going to see Dr. Green is a waste of time. There is never anything wrong with your child or it is always a virus, and you are always instructed to wait it out. I understand that every aliment does not require antibiotics, but it is frusturating to be blown off when your child is suffering!!

Unprofessional stuff.....Very rude doctor and the only thing they are looking to give prescription to sell the medication for serious issue.I already left the practice and very happy for that before we had more serious citation.

Besides once having practice misdiagnose child and having child return with correct diagnosis on another occassion Dr. refused to allow many possible factors to help determine if patient should be diagnosed with ADHD. This Dr.'s rush to have an ADHD diagnosis to supplement his interests in this field rather than waiting for a therapist to watch patient over a period of time was irresponsible and unprofessional. Patient had over 10 traits that mirrored ADHD from 6 hours sleep daily to working 8-12 hours on each weekend day to sugar diets, use of drugs, eyesight and hearing issues, parents divorcing, boredom in various classes, heavy schedule which included school performances and band rehearsals along with school trip and being sick. These are all factors that set student back in school but Dr. felt that administering a "magic" pill rather than have patient watched over time by an expert before rushing into prescription drugs was correct decision and then allowed his decision to be told… to only one parent while knowing that other parent was being lied to by patient and other parent. Dr.'s disregard for having both parents share in this extremely important decision and pitting one parent against the other by only communicating with the one parent was also unprofessional and showed a conduct unbecoming of someone that should be treating youngsters.

I have been taking my children to Dr. Green for 20 plus years. Yes! it sounds crazy. Both of my children have the highest regard and respect for both Dr. G and Dr. S. as they call them. My son was quite sick at a young age and the Doctor's were there every step of the way and continue to be.As of a matter of fact they still hold a relationship today with both Doctor's.They are the best, most professional on Long Island.

Dr Green was so rude and condescending, I left in tears. He became hostile and combative in front of my 3 children when I questioned his recommendation to vaccinate my baby while he was ill. Despite having 2 kids fully vaccinated, Dr Green asked my family to leave his practice if I refused to allow the vaccination while the baby was sick. He wouldn't allow me to ask a question without interrupting me with a nasty response. He even said I was harming my baby, which is very upseting for anyone to hear from their Doctor. I wish there had been another adult in the room with me. I didn't expect to be verbally attacked at a routine sick visit for an ear infection.
