Dr. Abraham G. Hsieh, MD

I had a poor experience with this DR. My office visit was late, he was impatient, the visit was rushed, and he seemed annoyed with my questions and somewhat demeaning and uncaring. I will not be returning to see him. I do not recommend.

I have seen Dr. Abraham Hsieh in his Walnut Creek, CA office for 16 years and just saw him today ONLY because his screwed up new data system cannot access any of the old system records. In other words, they cannot look up anything about my history with the doctor or my sleep apnea condition that requires certification to Medicare in order for me to obtain needed and necessary supplies. Their new system has been in place for about a year and still cannot access older data. So, because of their system inadequacies, they required me to come in for an appointment, which I didn't really need at all. In other words they made me pay with my time and Medicare insurance coverage for their problems and failures. That alone seems like a bit of an abuse of Medicare to me... because they will bill the visit. I also mentioned that Apria, where I get my cpap medical supplies, sent them a FAX last week, asking for the Medicare required certification. Either his staff simply ignored the FAX because… they cant access my records or the FAX fell down some mysterious black hole. Dr. Hsieh's reaction to this was a small snicker and nothing more. In my opinion, the screwed up and poor record system is a reflection on Dr. Hsieh, a bad reflection, but Dr. Hsieh obviously does not care, based on his reactions while I met with him. In my opinion that also casts a big shadow on the competency of that practice in general. Therefore I strongly recommend against seeing Diablo Valley ENT and Dr. Abraham Hsieh and his partners for any reason.

Dr. Hsieh is kind, caring and trustworthy. He listens and answers patient's questions. His diagnosis and treatment is superb.
