Dr. Abraham Kader, MD

It's hard to overstate the positive impact Dr. Kader has made on my life. Head trauma can leave the patient with a difficult future and many doctors will fall back on a dead-end "syndrome" diagnosis. Dr. Kader took interest in improving my quality of life and the outcome was nearly miraculous.

Great surgeon, he takes difficult and challemging cases, like mine, and gives them everything through high effort and good communication and bedside manner. My surgery was 12 years ago, and because of Dr. Kader work I am still alive and active. He’s patient, clear and concise in communication, takes the time to explain and describe the procedure and it’s risks. I could not have a better surgeon and better follow up than Dr. Kaser. I warmly recommend him to any potential patients. Thank you VA hospital for such good doctors and care!

I cannot thank Dr. Kader and his entire team enough for the fast action they took ! He has given me back a "normal" life. I had a chronic subdural hematoma verified just before Christmas. He set up his team and operated on me the VERY next day! Things could well have been different if this procedure had been delayed. Through his awesome surgical skills and PROMPT attention I feel I am making a full recovery. The entire staff at Va Hosp Center deserve 5 stars too. I'm a FAN.

Dr Kader performed disc replacement surgery on me. It did not work and I received no pain relief. Additionally, he persuaded me that the best way to do the surgery was an anterior approach with a tube down my throat instead of cutting through the back. it has ruined my lovely singing voice, I have lost the community of my choir, and it is hard to speak. People have a hard time hearing me and it has affected my social life very negatively. I can only converse for short periods and even that is painful.

I wish I could say he was a good dr. But I can't. The military contracted this dr to do surgery on my back and because they didn't file the paper work right he would not even see me the first time after surgery!!' This dr knowing that he would get his money because I had other ins. For him to file if for some reason the federal government didn't pay him. WoooooooW what kinda dr is so much about money would not see you after surgery !!!! I don't think he cares much for the people who laid there life on the line so he can be such a capitalist on money !!! Please take cash with you and make sure he can do what he got paid for. Because the military paid his bill . But he didn't do the job he got paid for. I would not recommend anyone to go to this dr. For any kinda surgery. My back is still giving me trouble. Please don't put your health in his hands he is just another person talking money above his Patients !!!

Staff was at times unresponsive to post-op questions from my wife regarding my Rx

I completely broke my neck in 2011 and Dr. Kader has been a blessing. Dr. Kader is the only doctor I would allow to operate on my neck. He is amazing.

Dr. Kader operated on my back (along with Riedel) and did a great job. I am now pain free, and have a new lease on life. Dr. Kader and his team are exceptional I would highly recommend him to anyone - if you're lucky enough to get an appointment. He and Dr. Riedel are very sought after for good reason.
