Dr. Abraham Mikalov, MD

Took my mother to Dr Mikalov who diagnosed her breast cancer. We were very thankful for the care we received. He and his staff were very compassionate and caring. Very knowledgable and took lots of time making my mother comfortable. The other patients in the waiting room all raved about the doctor. Since he is not an employee of any hospital, he has no problem referring his patients to only the best places for care. Too often doctors are owned and obligated to their hospital employer. He only advocates for his patient's best interests. Highly recommend him.

concerned with care. seems to more concerned with the financial support of ohio health than what is in the best interest of the patient. I highly recommend seeking care elsewhere.

Not that anyone likes having problems or being at a high risk for breast cancer, but this doctor is so kind, patient and wonderful, you kind of forget where you are at. His spouse is the nurse, and she is every bit as kind and wonderful as he is. The other worker there is the receptionst, who is truly a gem. Used to worry all the time about my high risk for breast cancer (it was recommended to me by my surgeon to have a double mastectomy), but not with his care. Feel very confident about his ability to manage everything. Another wonderful thing about this office, is that they have NEVER hounded me about payment. My ins. doesn't cover everything, so I always have a bill. I pay them each month, sometimes $200.00, sometimes $25.00, but I do pay. They do send a statement, but never in red ink. Truly do appreciate their sincerity about providing excellent medical care to their patients. There is an article about Dr. Mikalov in the waiting room and about how his is so innovative… and on top of all new technology. Unfortunately, it is just in an 8" by 10" frame. Blow that puppy up, so everyone can see it!!! You deserve the rocognition Dr. :)
