Dr. Hepner treated me both in the hospital and out. He is a wonderful Doctor as well as a person. Very kind and very thorough and always follows up.

Dr. Hepner is excellent in his field. I have been a patient of his for more than 10 years, and cannot say enough good things about him. He is thorough, thoughtful, and a caring bedside manner. I would trust him with my life -- which I obviously do. Office wait time is usually 5-10 minutes maximum.

Dr. Hepner is a wonderful cardiologist. And personable - my mom and I both see him on a regular basis. He did something today that I thought was amazing. He called me in the morning to ask if I could come in today at a later time. He is the specialist and took the time to call me. I got so many compliments from my friends at work about how caring he was to call me personally. I trust him with my heart! lol Excellent doctor - highly recommend. And smart as a whip!

Dr. Hepner has the bedside manner of a frog. He is very rude and judgmental. I came to Dr. Hepner after having months of heart palpitations and tightening in my chest. Because I have other health issues as well he immediately took one look at my chart and decided I must be over reacting. I could tell by his demeanor and the condescending tone in his voice that I was a patient that was apparently wasting his time. To humor me he order a stress test and a heart monitor for 48 hours. After two calls to his office to get the results he called me back to once again tell me in his condescending tone that there is absolutely nothing wrong with my heart. When I asked him where do I go from here, I'm still having the pains in my chest, he told me back to the doctor that referred you, I'm not the doctor for you. I have never felt so unworthy of medical care. The health issues I have I didn't ask for and would give anything to feel better. I highly recommend seeking out a different doctor… before wasting your time with this one.

I had a cardiac event and was rushed to Mission Hospital. Fortunately, I wasn't having a heart attack but some of my tests were abnormal. So they kept me overnight so that Dr. Hepner could consult with me and go over my tests. Instead of that, Dr. Hepner shows up in the morning and immediately orders me to go on a treadmill to perform a stress test. I told him that I was dizzy and I did not feel safe to run, but he told that I had to do it. He refused to answer any of my questions, and after the stress test he just says "I'm discharging you" and walks off. This Dr is very rude

From the start Dr Hepner was professional, caring, attentive, listens well, address any of your questions and puts you at ease. My husband had a heart attack and then came to be under the care of Doctor Hepner- we couldn't be happier with our Cardiologist.
