Dr. Abu Saeed Fakhruddin, MD

Dr. Fahkrudin is one of the most thorough and compassionate physicians we have encountered. I have been a patient for routine visits for over ten years. Recently we had to return for a procedure for my significant other which was an emotional moment. Dr. Fahkrudin spent time going over the procedure making sure we understood and were comfortable about the surgery. His follow up and that of his staff was exemplary making sure we were ok and letting us know we could reach out 24/7 if necessary and that there would be support for us. This was definitely a five star thumbs up experience.

I give ease of appointment 3 stars because it is hard to get in to see him; HOWEVER, this is due to the fact that he is so danged popular! He is great! And when I say great, I've had years of gastro docs with God complexes. This man is down to earth and real. It is special to find a doctor that makes you feel like you're the only patient of his and that is understanding and extremely helpful! I feel like I'm finally, FINALLY in good hands.

I have been of patient of Dr. Fakhruddin for 16 years. I feel he is one of the best gastroenterologist that Nashville, TN has to offer. He is very through with his diagnosis, listens to his patients with an open mind, and is very compassionate.

A very thorough and conscientious doctor, he takes time and listens to what you have to say and answers all your questions.

This was my first colonoscopy since I just turned 50. The staff and nurses leading up to the procedure were great. Met with Dr. Fakhruddin in procedure room and he was very polite and answered all of my questions. His bedside manners are excellent. After procedure and I awoke, he stopped by and said everything looked good. He didn't leave until he answered a few questions that I had. He is definitely on top of his game and I would recommend him to anyone.

Very nice guy but I doubt he gave me an accurate diagnosis. He just gave me a bunch of pills to try, I was feeling like a guinea pig and the symptoms were even worse. I had an endoscopy and laparoscopy done and finally he diagnosed IBS, but I'm not sure if he said that because has no clue of what I have. Besides, the staff are the most uncourteous people I've ever met. He is nice and apparently listens to your problems, (I say apparently as I was sure the medications and pills were making me feel even worse and he kept on prescribing and giving me more). After some years I just thought was a waste of time for me.
