Dr. Ada E Del Rivero-Yamuy, MD

I had been a patient of this doctor since 2011. 90% of the time you can’t get through on the phone. Never get a call back. I recently lost my job and my insurance and got LA Care. Even though the doctor is listed as taking LA Care she doesn’t take it. I literally have 4 pills left of a very important medication and the staff told me to go to urgent and the doctor can’t/won’t help me. I’m at a loss why I was treated so poorly.

If i can explain my experiences with this Dr. in one sentence, not need to waist my time long and long comment. Please don't go see this dr. horrible and terrible dr. and staff. thats all I will say. it is enough to say about this office.

If you call this office, they will not pick the phone up 99% of times. The message says they will call you in 30 minutes, but they never do call back. And if you need to hear back from the doctor for test results, don't hold your breath. But what is worst is the treatment I got from Dr. Del Rivero when, after two weeks of calling to get my results, I called my insurance to see if they could do something for me, so I could get my test results. That same day Dr. Del Rivero herself called me to scold me about having complained to the insurance. She was beyond rude and out of place!

Great and very knowledgeable doctor! Very attentive and tries to work on your issues "as a whole person", very comprehensive and checks everything that needs to be done. Mira and Agnes are also very good at what they do. This team will take great care of you and your health :) Highly recommended.

My first visit there was good. The office is old and small but it was easy to get an appointment and didn't have a long wait. The RN spent a lot of time with me and was super nice, I only briefly saw the doctor but she was nice and just confirmd what the RN told her.

My podiatrist recommended her (he's another story). I had swollening in my leg. Gout was ruled out. I asked the doctor (Del Rivero Yamuy) to run a Ultra Sound, Xray and MRI to rule out what was wrong with me. She gave me the prescription to do the Ultra Sound but wouldn't give me a prescription for a X-ray or MRI. She said that she would call me with the results and we would go from there. The technician who did the Ultra Sound told me that it was negative and said there wasn't a blood clot in my leg. She prescribed some medicine but never stated what it was. I asked the pharmacist what the medicine was for and it was "water pills' to shrink the swelling. The doctor NEVER called me to give me the results. She did call a week later and asked if "I figured out what was wrong with my leg". Will yes after I went to another doctor who ran numerous tests (X-ray and MRI) did we figure out that it was a stress fracture. Warning she is a horrible doctor so stay away.

I made my appointment for a routine physical, and when I went in, I was seen by her nurse practioner, who was very nice, but I was never told that I would never see the doctor. She couldn't do my pap that day and said that per doctor's orders, I needed to return 2 weeks later (which is totally redundaant) - they just want to charge you another copay. A couple of months later, I received a past due bill charging me a couple hundred dollars for my ROUTINE BLOOD WORK. I never received the first bill and every blood work was routine so I should have never been charged anything. The doctor's office apparently coded the tests incorreclty. I called the doctor's office so many times and left messages so that they could fix the issue, but they never answer the phone AND they DON'T return calls. What doctor's office does not return calls? Now I'm being sent to collections for the unpaid lab bill, which I should have never been billed for and I can't get the doctor's office to recode it… correctly. UGH! Very frustrating! I won't be going back!

Go see the official State of California Medical Board!She has over 65 complaints against her.She never answer the phone or returns calls, never renews RX on time, Just very greedy, unqualified physician.
