Dr. Adam Beckler, DPM

Dr. Beckler performed 2 surgeries and scheduled a 3rd form 12017 to 2021 that has continued to devastate my life. He cut my dorsalis pedis artery causing a blood loss of 150mL despite using a torniquet. He also cut superficial peroneal nerve during his anterolateral incision and Deep peroneal nerve at the same point he cut the DPA causing the 150mL blood loss that is too high for a podiatric surgery. He lost only 10mL during his second surgery that was more involving than the first surgery but still only lost 10mL. I know mistakes happen as nobody is perfect, I thought I had an excellent physician patient relationship with him but I am at a loss with the fact that he stated that no complication occurred during any of his surgeries. He never ordered imagings despite documenting +Tinel sign, traumatic neuroma with trigger point. I feel so much pain and shocks with minor touch he documented less than 1 week after the surgery and he never ordered any imaging or referred me to a… specialist. He wrote several wrong diagnoses he admitted were erroneous. He never even treated me for nerve pains from 2017 to 2021 I was under his care. He told me that a second surgery wound improve my pain and function and I trusted him. But he listed that the surgery was on Morton's neuroma on my foot instead of my ankle and obtained an authorization from Kaiser to do it at a 3rd party place. That authorization specifically stated that only what was authorized should be performed on my date of surgery. And if there is need to change the procedure, a new authorization must be obtained. On the day of surgery in August 2020, Dr. Beckler walked in and changed his preop diagnoses and removed Morton's neuroma and put in ankle neuroma. He proceeded to do the surgery contrary to the authorized procedure. Then on my first postop visit at kaiser, he remove the diagnoses he put for the surgery date and put back Morton's neuroma which he acknowleged was erroneous as I never had Morton's neuroma in the years that he treated me. My symptoms got really worse instead of getting better. In his operative report, he stated that he cut out a neuroma on the superficial peroneal nerve and set the nerves free proximally and distally. Nerves are like electrical wires and setting them free in the body is like putting live electrical wire in a bucket of water. This is why they have to be burried in the belly of a muscle or bones. I have worse electricial shocks instead of it being at the trigger point on his anterolateral incision when touched, it is now shock from my mid leg down to all my toes. Then during an arbitration, he produced a care everywhere documentation with my Kaiser MRN meaning somebody from Kaiser accessed it in Nov. 2023 when I was no longer their patient - a clear HIPAA violation. Because the care everywhere record showed Loma Linda Care Connect partners, he erroneousely assumed that I went to Loma Linda and used aspects of that record to craft what he titled as Loma Linda office visit. He falsified the record by removing the findings that showed that I had a complete block of my dorsalis pedis artery and only adding the one that said it could not be located and that everything is normal. Even his own vascular expert said that the surgery caused my dorsalis pedis artery to become occluded. And Dr. Beckler denied knowledge of any complications. He did admit that he entered and carried along several diagnoses that he admitted under perjury to be erroneous. I regret ever meeting Dr. Beckler. Before surgery with him, I was a PAC ten two sport athlete, was playing coed soccer, coed basketball and coaching my kids teams. Now I have so many complications, from deblitating neuropathic pains, rest ischemia that wakes me 3-4 times every night causing me to be sleepy throughout the day despite not being a snorer or having sleep apnea. After a year of foot infection after infection with no improvement with a different DPM, my husband was lucky enough to be sent to Dr Beckler, who truly listens to patients, is an excellent surgeon and doctor, and has a great sense of humor to boot.
