The young girl that took my information admitted she was new and kept having to go get an older professional to come in and help her but she never stayed long so she had to keep leaving to get her. Dr Buchanan was nice enough but spoke very fast as if he did not have time for me. Without even giving me a machine peripheral vision test (only hand waving and pen holding test). Keep in mind the reason I was referred to him was because I failed the peripheral vision portion of my driving test in September 2023. He said he could help me if I wanted to pay cosmetic surgery prices but I did not qualify insurance coverage. If the state says I can’t see well enough to drive when does Medicare pay. I’m calling Medicare next but would recommend you keep looking till you find doctors who has time to be thorough.

Last month I had upper eyelid surgery. Yesterday, my family doctor told me what an excellent job my surgeon had done. That surgeon was Dr. Adam Buchanan. The entire process was so professionally executed from my first consultation to my release today. I am so happy with the results. Not only can this 80 year old see better but I even look younger!

Dr. Buchanan performed a surgery to correct a ptosis of my left eyelid. He was recommended to me by my primary Ophthalmologist and I couldn't be happier! From the initial consultation to the surgery itself, Dr. Buchanan was extremely thorough, he has a wonderful bedside manner, very informative and kind. I'm extremely happy with the results and would not hesitate to consult with him again if I'm in need or want any future treatment or surgery of my eye, whether medically necessary or cosmetic.

He was able to fit me in for a last minute session due to a cancellation. Even though it was my first time there, they were able to process my information and take care of my problem very quickly. The whole time he was very polite and made me feel less stressed about my eye problem.

I had a pleasure to meet Dr Buchanan in not a very pleasant situation: eyelid restoration surgery. But it turned out to be as pleasurable as it could be. He and his staff are highly professional and friendly. First of all, my appointment was scheduled quick enough and I was informed about everything I needed to know, so I feared nothing. Second, I had no pain, no complications during the surgery, and minimal pain after it (Tylenol was enough). No worries, because I had two follow up appointments where my condition was checked. And third, good cosmetic result. Thanks, dr Buchanan! I highly recommend this doctor.

I visited Dr Buchanan regarding a small cyst on my eye lid. I had never seen him before but was so impressed by his professionalism and narrative along the way. He explained each step before he started the removal and during, reiterated what he was doing , what it may feel like and afterward what to expect. So much of that is missing today from experiences with doctors. I highly recommend Dr Buchanan to anyone seeking a highly skilled doctor for conditions affecting the eye.
