Dr. Adam Franklin Chandler, MD

Dr. Chandler was extremely RUDE and arrogant when we arrived at the ER with my BIL this afternoon who is still receiving treatment after a 2 month stay in the hospital for meningitis. We were told to go to the ER by Dr. Ferrin and her team at Infectious Disease UAMS. Upon arrival he would not even listen to what we were trying to tell him and very arrogantly stated "he just has a good old fashion crick in his neck." We also tried to explain who his doctors were and that they were the ones who told us to go to the ER. He rudely threw his hands up and stated sarcastically ,"I don't know those doctors." I am pretty sure he forgot he took the Hyppocratic Oath when he decided to become a doctor. Maybe he needs a reminder of why he supposedly went to med school. What a poor excuse for an ER doctor. St. Vincent's should be ashamed to have him on staff. After being prescribed a muscle relaxer, being talked "down to" and treated like we were idiots---We left and drove back home, which is… over a 2 hour drive. We are now going to have to drive back over in the morning for a possible admission into the hospital to treat CM NOT a crick. WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE??? The only reason this is getting one star is because there wasn't an option to give anything less.
